In and around Aberlady there is an excellent choice of cafes, pubs, restaurants and farm shops. The cottage is situated in the heart of Aberlady, parallel to the Main Street. The village has a mini-market and post office. Bar meals are served at the local Inn and the award-winning Ducks at Aberlady. All are within a five minute walk of twentyfour back lane.
